Agape - Unconditional Love

In a perfect world, "orphan" would not be word. Oh, how special are children to us. Each one of them is so different. A child's mind is easily influenced. What an opportunity God gave us to raise children of our own. Growing up, I remember observing everything that went on around me and being so absorbent of the good, the bad, and the ugly. The older I got, the easier it was to filter the bad out. I think about all of the children in the world without parents and try to imagine what they feel every day. Who teaches orphaned children how to filter out the bad, or do they simply become prey to the negative? Orphans should be taken care of with extra love, not be polluted by the world. I hope to one day adopt as many children as God allows. God is the Father of the fatherless. He mentions orphans many times in the Bible. God calls us to give back and for a while, we were torn on how to help our community. We prayed, and God answered. We decided to give 15% of our earnings through photography to agapeforchildren.org because of the special meaning it holds with us in our faith. Agape is another word for unconditional love, originating from God's love for mankind. We researched and contemplated for a while before our decision was final. Agape is non-profit and the majority of funding is provided through donations from churches and individuals. The way they love the children is inspiring. We would love to give back to the community with your help! We are so excited to see what God has in store for us next.
